For our second session, PAVe’s Mimi Boublik sits down with Dr. Jose Cucalon Calderon, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, to discuss health harms of vaping, parent-child communication, and all of your questions as parents. Ecuadorian-born, Dr. Cucalon works as a General Pediatrician at the Medicaid-exclusive Pediatric clinic at Renown Children’s Hospital. He currently serves for a second year as the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Nevada Chapter e-Cigarette champion and is inaugural Co-Chair for Nevada’s Chapter of the National Hispanic Medical Association.

This is the second in a series of three Nevada parent webinars by PAVe this spring, with the support of Washoe County Health District, in partnership with the National Hispanic Medical Association, the Nevada Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Carson City Health and Human Services and the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health. All webinars presented in English and Spanish, with interpretation for American Sign Language.
