Sidewalks to Systems Community Forum

About The Community Forums
This free, interactive gathering brings community members, safety professionals, and advocates together for open conversations and hands‑on activities. We’ll explore real experiences. We’ll work toward practical, community‑driven ideas that support safer, healthier neighborhoods across Nevada from the sidewalks to the systems.

Why Attend?

Your voice matters. Every day, whether we’re walking, biking, driving, or using mobility aids, transportation plays a major role in our health and well-being. Safe roads matter because transportation is a basic need. People rely on all modes of transportation to get to work, attend school, access medical care, shop for groceries, and stay connected. When transportation is unsafe or inaccessible, it creates significant challenges for daily life and affects some groups more than others, including:

  • Older adults
  • People with disabilities
  • Children and youth
  • Individuals with special health care needs
