In partnership with Clark County, the City of Las Vegas, and the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC), the Southern Nevada Bicycle Coalition (SNVBC) will host a community celebration focused on reducing traffic injuries and fatalities and reinforcing Nevada’s goal of zero roadway deaths.
This event will feature remarks from regional leaders, including Clark County Commissioner Justin Jones, City of Las Vegas Councilwoman Olivia Diaz, and RTC Deputy CEO Andrew Kjellman.
Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026
Time: 9:45 – 10:30 a.m.
Location: 100 E. California Avenue, Art Lot (18b Arts District), Las Vegas
The press conference will culminate in a ribbon cutting and the unveiling of a vibrant community mural designed by local artist Eric Vozzola. Inspired by Southern Nevada’s desert landscape and downtown energy.
The Let’s Get There Together campaign promotes safer behaviors among motorists, cyclists, pedestrians, transit riders, and micromobility users. It also highlights Nevada’s “Change Lanes for Bikes” law and emphasizes empathy, predictability, and mutual respect on our roadways.
