Shop Talk
Join us for Shop Talk, an open and empowering community event designed specifically for Black men to come together in a trusted and familiar space: the neighborhood barbershop. This father-son or mentor event fosters meaningful connection across generations, creating an opportunity to break harmful cycles and build a healthier future for the next generation of young men.
We’ll bring together healthcare professionals, mental health advocates, and community leaders for real conversations about the links between smoking, stress, and depression—and the lasting impact these challenges can have on our health, our relationships, and our legacy.
This community event will also include back-to-school supplies for students, free haircuts for registered attendees, and delicious food (while supplies last).
Event is open to ages 11 and up. As space is limited, registration is required.
